IN THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE TWENTIETH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
MONROE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
Case No. 2020L13

SETTLEMENT PAYMENTS FOR VALID CLAIMS MAILED SEPTEMBER 16, 2022.

IF YOU PURCHASED “HEX” HAND SANITIZER IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS OR MISSOURI, A CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT MAY AFFECT YOUR RIGHTS.

The Plaintiff contends that the Defendant via mislabeling of containers of HEX hand sanitizer, as 99% effective against all germs when it was not 99% effective against all germs, has engaged in consumer protection violations, including but not limited to violations of the 8/5 ILCS 505/2 et seq. and Mo. Rev. Stat 508-010 et seq., and other legal wrongs which have damaged the Plaintiff and the Class.

The Class is composed of all persons who purchased, not for resale, in the State of Illinois and the State of Missouri Defendant Sugarmill’s product(s), regardless of the fluid ounces contained in each container, that is labeled as “HEX hand sanitizer,” between May 15, 2017 and April 1, 2022, but excludes Persons meeting the criteria who timely exclude themselves from the Class.

Your legal rights are affected whether you act or don’t act. Please read the information provided on this website and the settlement documents carefully.
